On March 4th, I welcomed Bailey into my life.
Yes, it was stupid and selfish of me to get a puppy in my current situation, but what's done is done.
She's a gorgeous Mountain Bernese mix and she has successfully moved into my heart.
The biggest obstacle we are facing is housetraining, but I'm sure that I'm not alone in that area when it comes to 10 week old puppies.
(We've got the cues down for number two; she just needs help realizing that she doesn't have to go number one whenever she has a teaspoon of urine in her bladder. It does really no good in telling her no and taking her outside cuz her business would have been concluded. But, still I do it.)
Besides, we changed up the method on Tuesday, and it seems to be more successful. (So far.)
I would love to do a post every week, updating how she's doing and stuff.
If for no other reason than it would serve as a reminder for me, kinda like a baby book but for a puppy.
She sleeps a lot, which worries me.
But she also plays a lot, so I'm not too worried.
I really want to get her a halter and get her used to walking in one; walking on a leash with her is quite comical, especially when we're out going potty. Invariably, the collar turns the leash down, so it's between her front and back legs, and every time she tries to move side-to-side with the leash like that, she has issues.
