One Day...

  • I will have enough money to get pedicures, massages, and haircuts on a regular basis.
  • I can replace my shoes when they get scuffed and scratched.
  • I won't have to worry about how I will pay for my dog's next check up.
  • I can go to the doctor and the chiropractor when I need to, and my health will improve.
  • My dog will have a yard to run in, and won't need to be taken out with a leash.
  • I will have a dog door for her to let herself out.
  • I will have a car of my own again.
  • I can see movies on the weekend they open.
But Until Then...
  • I will get them as I can.
  • I will wear them as long as the soles are not holey.
  • I will take the money-making opportunities that present themselves.
  • I will consider myself lucky to be breathing every day.
  • We will spend time on our walks watching the neighbors' goats, building our bond, and walking through tall pasture grasses.
  • I will wake up at 6:30 every morning when she quietly whines next to me.
  • I will accept the kindness of others by being respectful and driving their cars with care.
  • I will be content to wait for them to be in RedBox.
