This post is for yesterday, since I was only online for a short time and got distracted when I was done volunteering.
Something I never want to lose, and something I continue to keen: my sense of wonderment.
It's nothing compared to that of a child, but I would maintain that it is somewhere between that of a child and that of an adult.
...maybe it's looking at things in an adult's world with a child's wonder?
I have loved watching Bailey grow and change. It seems like something new happens every week. She's so smart: she got "fetch" down pretty much right away! I have loved watching her start to manifest the traits she's going to have as an adult, both physically and personality-wise.
I think that I have this sense of wonderment at everything because life is so precious, the rain so beautiful.
Which is one reason why I photograph everything like crazy. I notice the details that others sometimes omit. (Not other photographers, but other people.)
