Twenty nine years ago today, in a little town on the prairie in Eastern Colorado, my parents stood before a judge and a handful of friends and family. There they agreed to stay together until death parted them. 

I've been here for the last 27 of those years. I've been present for arguments. I've been present for celebrations. It's been a long road, with a lot of rocks and pot holes. They've (barely) toughed it out.
But, they're still together. That counts for something, right?
