Heartbroken Life

I was thinking today of what needs to be done around here.

We need a hot water heater.
My dad's car needs fixed.
My mom's car hasn't had a payment made for two months.

I also have some personal health things that need attention: chiropractor, dentist visit, eye exam, and a massage. (That last one is not as much a luxury as it is a necessity. Promise.)

If I didn't have a refund coming from my income taxes, there would be no way that any of these could happen, and that sucks. It's been that way for so long. It's getting really old.
I am really getting sick of bad news and having to struggle and scrimp and claw and fight for everything.

I guess, really, as long as I have a house and food and something to keep me warm, I shouldn't complain. My basic needs would be met, right? What else could I need?

(Some savings would be nice.)
